You do not need planning if the Loghouse will not be used as residential.

Dear Ernes,

Please confirm with your County Council. In private owned properties you dont need any planning permission for structures below 25sq meters as long as its not residential. Please see our post for more details.

If I live in a council house, do I need permission from the County Council or can I build without informing them as long as it is below 25 square meters area?

I’m looking at some land in Raheen Britten in Co Dublin. Do you have any experience of how hard planning would be there to get 2 log cabins built. Thanks
