Timber Curing Method
Loghouse logs are made from sustainable materials and come from the coldest parts of Scandinavia, where wood grows very slowly and is dense and fibrous. This makes the timber less prone to cracking, splitting, and warping. We kiln dry our timber above the Irish standard for a quality product that will last over time.
Our-state-of-the-art Muhlbock kilns dry the logs in mass quantities and to an exact standard so you get the same quality consistently over time. All our base bearers are pressure treated to ensure long life in the Irish damp conditions.
